Sirah Castle is a historic coastal fortress located on Sirah Island in the harbor of Aden, Yemen. Originally constructed in the 12th century AD, the castle occupies a strategic volcanic outcrop overlooking the main maritime approaches to the city. For centuries, it played a central defensive role in protecting Aden from seaborne invasions and controlling access to its natural harbor. Owing to its commanding position and continued strategic importance, the site remains in use today by the Yemeni military.
The site is one of the elements included in the UNESCO Tentative List for World Heritage designation, The Historic City of Aden.
