The monument dates back to the 18th century AD and is associated with the tomb of a respected religious figure known locally as Sayyid Abduh. The structure reflects traditional Yemeni architectural styles, with a distinctive dome rising above the building and simple yet elegant decorative elements.
    The site is one of the elements included in the UNESCO Tentative List for World Heritage designation, The landmarks of Ta’iz City.
