The Red Madrasa of Cizre is a historical madrasa (Islamic school) located in the city of Cizre in Şırnak Province in Turkey. Researchers agree that the school building dates back to the first quarter of the 14th centur AD. The madrasa is a complex that includes a mosque in addition to the tomb of of Melayê Cizîrî, a Kurdish Sufi who laid the foundations of Kurdish poetry.
