Grand Mosque of Cizre, or, The Grand Mosque of Jazirat IbnʿUmar, is a historic mosque located in the city of Cizre in Şırnak Province in Turkey. It was built in 1155 AD, during the reign of Qutb al-Din Mawdud, the ruler of Mosul and the brother of Nur ad-Din Zengi.
