Pharaoh's Island is an island in the northern Gulf of Aqaba off the shore of Egypt's eastern Sinai Peninsula. Crusaders built a citadel on the island, which they called Ile de Graye. In December 1170, Saladin conquered the island and reconstructed the citadel which became later Saladin Citadel.
The site is included on the UNESCO Tentative List under the official name, Pharaon Island.
