    Citadel of Qaytbay is a historic defensive fortress located on the Mediterranean Sea coast, in Alexandria, Egypt. It was built in 1477 AD by the Mamluk sultan al-Ashraf Qaytbay.
    The site is one of the elements included in the UNESCO Tentative List for World Heritage designation, Alexandria, ancient remains and the new library.
