The Great Temple is a grand temple complex located in the historic city of Petra in Ma’an Governorate in Jordan. It was built by the Nabataeans in the 1st century AD, and it remained in use in some later periods. The temple was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1985 as part of Petra.
