Gebel el-Haridi is an archaeological site located in Sohag Governorate in Upper Egypt. The site contained one of the more important sources of stone under the Ptolemies and Ramses III. Gebel el- Haridi revealed significant archaeological material from the Sixth Dynasty of the Old Kingdom to the late Roman Empire and Coptic period.
