Zawiyet el-Aryan

Zawiyet el-Aryan is a town and ancient necropolis located in Lower Egypt. There are two pyramid complexes and five mastaba cemeteries in the site. The two pyramids are the Layer Pyramid and the Unfinished Pyramid. Both of them are dating back to the Old Kingdom period in the third millennium BC.
