  • Gafsa

    Gafsa is the capital of Gafsa Governorate of Tunisia. The city of Capsa belonged to King Jugurtha, who deposited his treasures there. It was captured by Gaius Marius in 106 BC and destroyed, but later became a Roman colonia.
