Dar Bach Hamba

Dar Bach Hamba is a historic palace located the medina quarter of Tunis, the capital of Tunisia. The oldest history of the palace dates from the 17th century AD. In 1789, Ahmed Bash Hamba, the son of Ali Bash Hamba, bought this palace and gave it its name. Today, the palace houses the L'Art Rue association that develops artistic projects promoting local heritage. Dar Bach Hamba was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979 as part of Medina of Tunis.
