Talassemtane National Park
Talassemtane National Park is a nature reserve located in the north of Morocco. It provides a unique example of the Mediterranean forest ecosystem, due to its richness in endemic plant species such as the rare Moroccan fir.
The reserve is also characterized by its natural landscapes of scenic beauty, such as mountain peaks, cliffs, valleys, and caves, overlooking the historical city of Chefchaouen
Talassemtane National Park was submitted in 1998 to the UNESCO Tentative List in Morocco.
