    Nahanni National Park Reserve in a national park located west of Yellowknife in the Dehcho Region of the Northwest Territories, Canada. The park is situated along the South Nahanni River, one of the most beautiful wild rivers in North America, and it has a distinctive limestone cave system in addition to deep canyons and large waterfalls.
    Wolves, grizzly bears, and caribou are among the boreal forest wildlife that can be found in the park. The park's alpine environment is also home to Dall's sheep and mountain goats.

    Nahanni National Park was inscribed in 1978 in the UNESCO World Heritage List in Canada.
