Miguasha National Park
Miguasha Provincial Park is a protected area near Carleton-sur-Mer on Quebec's Gaspé Peninsula, Canada. The park is well-known for its outstanding fossil deposits, notably those from the Devonian period, sometimes known as the "Age of Fishes.
" The park's fossils, which include early fish and ancient tetrapods, reveal important details about the evolution of vertebrate life on Earth.
Miguasha National Park was inscribed in 1999 in the UNESCO World Heritage List in Canada.
