Kluane / Wrangell - St. Elias / Glacier Bay / Tatshenshini-Alsek is a network of international parks situated on the borders of Yukon, Alaska, and British Columbia in both Canada and the United States.
The parks network consists of: 1- Kluane National Park and Reserve, a large wilderness area in Canada's Yukon Territory. It's famous for its breathtaking mountain landscapes, including Mount Logan, Canada's highest peak.
Wildlife in the park includes grizzly bears, Dall sheep, and migrating birds. 2- Wrangell–St.
Elias National Park and Preserve, a national park and preserve located in Alaska, USA. It's the largest in America, with massive glaciers, towering peaks, and diverse wildlife.
This pristine wilderness is home to grizzly bears, moose, black bears, and wolves, as well as North American beaver, Canadian lynx, porcupine, pine marten, river otters, coyote, red fox, Arctic ground and flying squirrels, weasels, ermine, snowshoe hare and hoary marmot. 3- Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve, a national park and preserve located in Alaska, USA.
The park is home to a diverse range of fauna, including marine and terrestrial species. Its waters teem with marine life such as humpback whales, orcas, and harbor seals.
Terrestrial species in the park include brown bears, mountain goats, and moose. 4- Tatshenshini-Alsek Provincial Park, a provincial park in British Columbia, Canada.
The park is the only place in Canada where the glacier bear may be found, together with a sizable population of grizzly bears. Additionally, the Tatshenshini-Alsek Park is home to large populations of Dall sheep, mountain goats, Kenai moose, grey wolves, bald and golden eagles, peregrine and gyr falcons, trumpeter swans, and Dall sheep.
Sea lions and humpback whales can be observed near the coast.
Kluane / Wrangell - St. Elias / Glacier Bay / Tatshenshini-Alsek was inscribed in 1979 in the UNESCO World Heritage List in Canada, United States of America.
