Talhat Site
Talhat is a station along Darb Zubaydah (the route of caravansaries of pilgrims from Iraq to Mecca). It is located south of Kufa in the Iraqi province of Najaf. Al-Talhat Station is one of the large stations that includes many wells and water basins (pools), in addition to square-shaped buildings with rooms and four watchtowers in each corner.
