Saint George Greek Orthodox Cathedral is a cathedral and the seat of the Greek Orthodox Metropolitan bishop of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Beirut and its dependencies. It was built in 1772 AD over the 5th century AD disappeared Anastasi Romano-Byzantine Cathedral.
