Sidon, or Saida, Sayda, is the third-largest city in Lebanon. It is located in the South Governorate of Lebanon. Sidon was one of the most important Phoenician cities, and it may have been the oldest.The city contains Sidon Sea Castle, built by the Crusaders in 1228 AD.
