    Qarnawu is an ancient city located in Al-Hazm District, Al Jawf Governorate, Yemen. It served as the capital of the Kingdom of Maʿin (Minaean Kingdom), one of the major South Arabian states of the first millennium BC. As a political and administrative center, Qarnawu played a key role in the organization of trade routes and the governance of northern Yemen. Archaeological remains reflect its urban planning, monumental stone architecture, and its significance within the cultural and economic networks of ancient Arabia.
    The site is one of the elements included in the UNESCO Tentative List for World Heritage designation, The Cities and Landmarks of Ma’in Old Kingdom.
