Musawwarat es-Sufra is a large Meroitic temple complex in modern Sudan. The site is dating back to the 3rd century BC. Al-Musawarat Al-Sufra was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2011 as part of Archaeological Sites of the Island of Meroe.

This is Amun Temple in Nagaa. Musawarat es'ofra is a huge space with column s and elephants' statues. Some researchers believe that it was a school others believe it was elephants training yards while others think it something to do with astronomy and monks.
