Meydan Madrasa is a historical Islamic school (Madrasa) located in the city of Hakkari, southeastern Turkey. According to the inscription on the entrance to the madrasa, it was built at the beginning of the 18th century AD by Ibrahim Bey son of Izz al-Din between 1700 and 1701. The madrasa presents an architectural example of the Islamic school building system that began in the Seljuk era in Anatolia and later developed during the Ottoman era.
