Mevlevi Tekke (Tripoli)
Mevlevi Tekke is a historical Tekke located in the city of Tripoli in North Governorate, Lebanon. It was built in 1619 AD during the Ottoman era. The Mevlevi Tekke belongs to the Mevlevi Order which is an Islamic Sufi brotherhood (tariqa) founded by the followers of Jalaluddin Muhammad Balkhi Rumi. It has been restored several times throughout its long history, the last of which was in 2014.
