Jemaa el-Fnaa
Jemaa el-Fnaa is a market place and square located in the old city of Marrakesh, Morocco. It was founded in 1070 AD (The same period in which the city of Marrakesh was founded) by Abu Bakr ibn Umar, the commander of the Almoravids dynasty. The square then developed during subsequent eras. Jemaa el-Fnaa was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1985 as part of Medina of Marrakesh.
