Hemdat Israel Synagogue is a synagogue located in Kadıköy district in the Asian side of Istanbul, Turkey. It was built in 1898 AD during the reign of the Ottoman Sultan AAbdul Hamid II, and it was officially opened in 1899. The synagogue is considered one of the oldest synagogues in Istanbul.
