Gird-î Kazhaw is an archaeological site located in Sulaymaniyah Governorate, Iraq, within the Shahrizor Plain. The site dates mainly to the late Sasanian period (around the 5th–6th centuries AD) and is notable for architectural remains that suggest a religious or communal function, possibly connected to early Christian communities in the region. Its location near a Sasanian fort and later Islamic cemetery highlights the long and complex history of settlement and cultural continuity in the area.
