El-Mansuriya
El-Mansuriya or Mansouria, also Sabra, is a historic city located in Kairouan Governorate, Tunisia. It was the capital of the Fatimid Caliphate between 946 - 975 AD. The city was built as a walled city holding elaborate palaces surrounded by gardens, artificial pools and water channels. The caliph's palace (Al-Mansur Billah Palace) ruins are located near the center of the city.
