El Barani Mosque is a historic mosque located in Algiers, the capital of Algeria. It is situated inside the Kasbah of Algiers and was built by the Ottomans in 1653 AD. The mosque was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1992 as part of Kasbah of Algiers.
