Boukoleon Palace
Boukoleon Palace is a ruined Byzantine-era palace located on the shore of Marmara Sea in Istanbul, Turkey. It was built during the reign of the Byzantine emperor Theodosius II in the 5th century AD. The palace was later rebuilt and expanded by emperor Theophilos in the 9th century and emperor Nikephoros II in the 10th century AD.
