Dolmabahçe Palace is a historical palace located on the European coast of the Bosporus, Istanbul, Turkey. It was built between the years 1843 and 1856 AD during the reign of the Ottoman Sultan Abdulmejid I, and used as the main administrative center of the Ottoman Empire from 1856 to 1887 and from 1909 to 1922.
