    Bordj El Mokrani is a garrison and watchtower dating back to the Ottoman era and located in the city of Bordj Bou Arréridj in Algeria. It was built in 1552 AD by Hasan Pasha (son of Barbarossa), the ruler of Algeria during the Ottoman era. Bordj El Mokrani was later named after Mohamed El-Mokrani, one of the leaders of the Algerian uprising against the French occupation in the 19th century AD.
