Ancient Sites in W National Park is a group of prehistoric archaeological sites located along the Mékrou River in W National Park in Tillabéri Region, Niger. The ancient archaeological sites discovered in the park provide a representation of all ancient historical periods, within a long and uninterrupted sequence from the Acheulean period in the Lower Paleolithic period, through the Neolithic age, and up to the appearance of iron metallurgy. From the archaeological point of view, the region testifies to the presence of a large prehistoric settlement and many historical settlements. Among the most important sites there are Bossia, Gambou, Sakala Gonga, and others.
