    Amphitheatre of Durrës is a Roman amphitheater located in the center of the city of Durrës, Albania. It was built in the beginning of the 2nd century AD by emperor Trajan and considered to be the largest amphitheater ever built in the Balkan Peninsula, with a capacity of 20,000 people.
    The site is included on the UNESCO Tentative List under the official name, Amphitheatre of Durrës.
