    Al-Qaiqan Mosque is an old mosque located in the Ancient City of Aleppo, Syria. The foundations of the mosque date back to the Hittite period in the second millennium BC, when it is believed that it was a pagan temple. The mosque was built in the 12th century AD using Basalt columns and ancient stones with Hittite inscriptions. The mosque was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1986 as part of the ancient city of Aleppo.
    The site is one of the elements that make up the UNESCO World Heritage site, Ancient City of Aleppo.
