The Sharea of Falaj Almu’alla

The Sharea of Falaj Almu’alla is a historic Sharea (canal and water source) located in Falaj Almoalaa in Umm al-Quwain emirate, United Arab Emirates. It was built in the 19th century AD by Sheikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Mualla, the Ruler of Umm Al Quwain from 1820–1853 AD. In the past, The Sharea of Falaj Almu’alla was one of the most important stops for the convoys to rest and be supplied with water and food before continuing their journey.
