Al-Azm Palace in Hama
Al-Azm Palace Palace is a historical palace located on the banks of the Orontes River in the city of Hama in central Syria. It was built in 1742 by the Ottoman governor As'ad Pasha al-Azm as his residence. The palace has been used as a museum of popular traditions since 1956. Throughout its long history, the palace has been restored several times. Both this palace and the Al-Azm Palace in Damascus, also built by As'ad Pasha al-Azm in 1749, are considered among the most beautiful Ottoman monuments in Syria.
