Qal’at Salah El-Din
The Citadel of Salah Ed-Din, also known as Saône Castle, Saladin Castle, Qal'at Salah al-Din, is a castle in Syria. The site has been fortified since at least the mid 10th century and became part of the Crusader state in the 12th century AD. The castle was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site as part of Crac des Chevaliers and Qal'at Salah El-Din in 2006.
