Abbas ibn Ali Türbe, also known as Abbas Ali Türbe, is a shrine for followers of the Bektashi Sufi order, located on the southern peak of Mount Tomorr in Berat County, south-central Albania. Built in 1620 AD, it is traditionally considered the resting place of Al-Abbas ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib. According to popular tradition, Abbas ibn Ali arrived in Albania on a white horse to save it from barbarians. Some also believe the shrine contains parts of his remains, brought by Haji Bektash Veli and buried at the top of Mount Tomorr. The shrine is an important site for the annual pilgrimage held from August 20 to 25, attracting many Bektashi followers who celebrate and offer sacrifices.
