Wadi Gaza Coastal Wetlands is a reserve that includes the lands located on the course of Wadi Gaza and its flood plains and banks within the Gaza Strip in Palestine. The area is distinguished by its strategic location that links the continents of Africa, Asia, and Europe, making it an important stop on the migratory bird routes, where thousands of ducks, herons, storks, flamingos, and quails come to it, in addition to birds of prey and other birds.
One of the most common endemic birds is the Palestine sunbird, which is found throughout the year.
