Al-Qudoud al-Halabiya is one of the types of traditional and authentic singing and music from the city of Aleppo in Syria. Al-Qudoud al-Halabiya is considered a vital part of the culture of the city of Aleppo and has been passed down from generation to generation.
It is a type of deep vocals in which people reach the stage of tarab (exultation and sense of emotion).
Al-Qudoud Al-Halabiya was inscribed in 2021 on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in Syria.
