Zitouna Mosque is a large historical mosque located in the city of Meknes, Morocco. It was founded by Sultan Moulay Ismail Ibn Sharif in 1687 AD. The mosque was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1996 as part of Historic City of Meknes.
