    Grand Mosque of Meknes is a historic mosque located in Meknes, Morocco. The mosque is the oldest and largest mosque in the old city of Meknes, and it is believed that it was built in the 12th century AD by the Almoravid dynasty. The mosque was completely restored and expanded later during the reign of the Almohad Caliph Muhammad al-Nasir (1199-1213). The Grand Mosque of Meknes was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1996 as part of Historic City of Meknes.
    The site is one of the elements that make up the UNESCO World Heritage site, Historic City of Meknes.
