    Umm es-Sawan is a quarry located on Gebel el-Qatrani, Faiyum, in the Western Desert of Egypt. It was a basalt quarry exploited in the early third millennium BC.
    The site is one of the elements included in the UNESCO Tentative List for World Heritage designation, Gebel Qatrani Area, Lake Qaroun Nature Reserve.
