Tr’ochëk, or Tr’ochëk National Historic Site, is a cultural and historical site located at the confluence of the Klondike and Yukon rivers, near Dawson City, Yukon, Canada. The site is a traditional fishing and gathering site for the Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in First Nation. The site is an exceptional cultural landscape that reflects the enduring coexistence of the Trʼondëk Hwëchʼin First Nation, and the newcomer population attracted by the search for gold during the 19th century AD. The Klondike River regions saw the arrival of approximately 30,000 people from all over the world in search of gold between 1896 and 1898.
The site is included on the UNESCO Tentative List under the official name, Tr’ondëk-Klondike.
