    Tamezret is a Berber village located in Gabès Governorate, Tunisia. The village was built on the four slopes of one of the highest hills in the Matmata Mountains and it contains several houses with cave dwellings carved into the rock.
    The site is one of the elements included in the UNESCO Tentative List for World Heritage designation, Cave dwelling and the world of ksour in southern Tunisia.
