    Shuruppak or Shuruppag, Tell Fara, was an ancient Sumerian city situated south of Nippur on the banks of the Euphrates in Iraq's Al-Q?disiyyah Governorate. Shuruppak was dedicated to Ninlil, also called Sud, the goddess of grain and the air.
