Sharjah Fort
Sharjah Fort is a historical fort located in Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates. It was built in 1823 AD, as it was the residence of the ruling Al Qasimi family and the seat of the Sharjah government headquarters. The fort is a square-shaped building with two floors in addition to an inner courtyard and three defensive towers. It has been restored several times throughout its long history, and today it is a museum that narrates the history of Sharjah and provides a glimpse into its ancient past.
