Seleucia in Pieria, also known as Seleucia by the Sea or Suedia, was a Hellenistic town located in Hatay Province, Turkey. The city was founded in the 3rd century BC by Seleucus I Nicator, one of the successors of the Macedonian conqueror Alexander the Great and the founder of the Seleucid Empire.
