Sai Island
Sai is a large island in the Nile River in Nubia between the second and third cataracts in Sudan. Sai was intermittently occupied by the Egyptians during the New Kingdom. The island also includes ruins of an old Ottomans castle, Sai fortress (Sai Castle).
