    Qasr Qarun, ancient Dionysias, is an archaeological site located near the western edge of Birket Qarun lake, Egypt. It was founded during the Ptolemaic period in the 2nd century BC. The ruins include several houses, temples, Roman bath and forrtress.
    The site is one of the elements included in the UNESCO Tentative List for World Heritage designation, El Fayoum.
