Qasr Kharana, also known as Qasr al-Harrana, Qasr al-Kharanah, Kharaneh or Hraneh, is one of the best-known of the desert castles located in eastern Jordan, It is one of the earliest examples of Islamic Umayyad Caliphate architecture in the region.
